Opened in 2025, our Lisbon Regional Operations Center has grown to over 50 employees in less than ten months, with ambitious plans to expand to 300 employees by 2027\. **About the role** We are seeking an experienced PMO Head to drive operational excellence across our project portfolio, with a strong emphasis on release management, scrum management, and cross\-functional program management. This role will serve as a critical bridge between technology teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure seamless delivery of strategic initiatives. **Key responsibilities** *Release management* * Oversee end\-to\-end release planning, coordination, and execution across multiple products and platforms * Establish and maintain release schedules, gates, and governance processes * Coordinate cross\-team dependencies and manage release risks and issues * Develop and enforce release readiness criteria and quality gates * Lead release retrospectives and drive continuous improvement * Maintain release documentation, runbooks, and communication plans *Scrum master \& agile leadership* * Serve as Scrum Master for critical program\-level initiatives * Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and demos * Coach teams on Agile best practices and remove impediments * Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team empowerment * Track sprint velocity, burndown, and team health metrics * Guide Agile transformation and process optimization *Cross\-functional program management* * Lead complex, enterprise\-wide programs across multiple teams and departments * Develop program plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies * Manage budgets, scope, and deliverables * Coordinate across engineering, product, operations, and business teams * Identify and mitigate risks and interdependencies * Provide executive\-level visibility through dashboards and reporting * Align technical execution with business objectives *PMO operations* * Establish and maintain PMO standards, methodologies, and templates * Implement project management tools and reporting frameworks * Build capacity planning and resource management processes * Develop KPIs to measure program health and delivery performance Mentor project managers and coordinate resources across the portfolio * **Required qualifications** * 7\+ years of experience in program/project management, including 3\+ years in a PMO leadership role * Proven track record managing complex software releases in fast\-paced environments * Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (required) * PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification (preferred) * Strong understanding of SDLC and release management best practices * Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams * Experience managing cross\-functional programs with multiple stakeholders **Working for us** At Cyncly, we call our team *OneCyncly* —a reflection of how we work together as one, united by our purpose: powering businesses that bring spaces to life.
