BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as **Warehouse Operator – Spare Parts and Consumables (M/F/D)** at our new production plant in Viana, Portugal.**Key Accountabilities:*** Provide administrative support to Maintenance Technicians in material requisition and receipt processes. * Control machine spare parts inventory. * Ensure administrative organization of procedures within the spare parts warehouse area. * Receipt, inspection, and registration of spare parts and consumable materials. * Quantitative and qualitative verification of received materials (compliance with delivery notes / purchase orders). * Identification, labeling, and proper storage of materials in accordance with stock management rules (FIFO, FEFO where applicable). * Preparation of materials for internal customers according to shopping lists. * Availability and handover of requisitioned materials. * Monitoring of stock levels. * Execution of periodic inventories and support during internal and external audits. * Ensuring compliance with safety, organization, and housekeeping standards (5S). * Use of warehouse management IT systems (ERP / SAP or similar) for recording material entries and exits. * Collaboration with Purchasing, Production, and Maintenance departments to ensure availability of critical materials. * Filing and archiving of documentation. * Execution of other tasks not included in the activity for which the employee was hired, whenever service needs or operational convenience justify it, for the period required by such needs. * Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety at work standards, policies and practices in accordance with their level of responsibility. * Comply with environmental, health and safety, quality and productivity standards.
